Three Kings doesn’t claim to be all things to all people.

That’s why our clients love and refer us to their nearest and dearest.

We are honest and understand we can only help those we can help, however, we strive to give every single person we interact with value from our engagements so they walk away with some tools to better their situation. We recognise the Australian population who needs good financial advice vs the amount of financial services operators who can actually deliver this is far outweighed on the consumer side, which means we will only take on clients if it is truly in their best interests. Our first step is to listen to what it is you are trying to achieve, challenge you a little bit and come up with the next steps that are best for you.

This may be giving you some pointers or education through our consulting service, some once off advice to get you on a track that you can follow yourself or potentially as an on-going member of our Wealth Management division. It could even be to refer you to another professional you are better suited to or to tell you to keep doing what you are doing if you are already on track. Whatever it is we don’t mind, our job is to ask the right questions to figure out that answer and put you on the right path so you can start kicking goals sooner rather than later in the way that is best for you, not us.

We put you on the right path so you can start kicking goals sooner rather than later.

Core Values

Every report, study, peer to peer or peer to customer review has always found roughly the same three things as the main driver as to why Australians Financial Literacy is so bad yet they still don’t seek help. They don’t trust the industry as there are too many hidden things and dishonest practices i.e. fees, things weren’t explained properly, they didn’t realise this was how the business operated, that the conversations and advice were to complex and technical making the consumer feel dumb and not understanding anything which pigeonhole them into feeling like they had to pay whatever because they couldn’t do it themselves, and that the typical advice firms were too rigid and run very “fit in or get out” styles of advice and pricing as well as many cookie cutter approaches. This is why our core values were developed on these 3 pillars, Transparency, Simplicity and Flexibility.

Honesty and understanding what is happening with your money is vital in developing a long, healthy and positive relationship that can assure your goals stay focused and become reality. Whether it is fees, operations or anything else we stand tall in making sure we are open and share exactly what the reality is behind everything to do with your money. Sometimes it may not be what you want to hear, but you can guarantee it is the truth, and in most cases, what you need to hear.
Financial Planning is meant to be simple; you are at X you want to get to Z but you are currently heading to Y, all you need to do is bridge that gap. Sounds simple, and it should be, but there are many variables that go into this answer that can become super complex. Our job is to remove that complexity to allow you more time to do what you love and are good at, your career, your family, just enjoying the life you work so hard to provide. Our client’s motto is to “Control the controllable” and fortunately there are very few of those. What we do is ensure that as long as you are controlling the controllables, we will ensure the rest is taken care of and you stay on track. In saying that, our transparent nature means you will know EVERYTHING that is going on but you don’t have to waste time focusing on them. This is the first step to putting the power back in your hands and begin creating a healthy relationship with money.
How much are you over having an idea of how you would like to do some thing in your head and then when you go to execute it the only way to do so is the way someone else wants, which doesn’t fit at all in with what you had in mind? We get it, that’s why our plans and packages are simple yet tailored to every single need and want not only from a pricing perspective but from an execution and advice perspective as well. We know that no 2 people are the same so why should you all follow the same path. On paper buying that red Ferrari is a terrible financial decision…but what if that is your one life goal and deepest darkest desire, who are we to say otherwise. Our job isn’t to pigeonhole you into what we think is best according to our own personal prejudices, it is to challenge your way of thinking and get you coming up with what your true life goals are, then making recommendations on how to achieve that as efficiently and risk-free as possible. Our job is to make recommendations but at the end of the day it is your life and your money, it is your job to make the decisions, which we will hold you too.
